On wider screens, the separator between the chat and rubric editor can be adjusted without dragging.
Key points
- Focus Chat pane width, then use Left or Right to adjust it. Shift with an arrow makes a larger adjustment; Home and End select its minimum and maximum widths.
- On narrow screens, the chat and editor stack vertically. On wider screens, drag the left edge of the Ask Classwise drawer to adjust its width.
Use browser zoom to enlarge the interface. Screen readers can navigate chart values as tables, and keyboard users can open the values in a dialog.
Key points
- Course distribution charts and school credit/activity charts expose their values in a semantic table for screen readers. Press Tab to reveal View data, then Enter or Space to open a scrollable data-table dialog. This keeps the chart layout unchanged until you request the values.
- Review student feedback in the web page when you need selectable text. An uploaded scan or handwritten submission may still need a text description supplied by its author.
- Freehand marks and visual PDF annotations do not automatically become a text description. Put essential feedback in the question feedback or teacher comments as well.
